...that God sent his Son for us...

...that Olivia's surgery tomorrow will be fine...

...that Daniel won't mind getting up at 5 am...

...that the Mother/Daughter Tea at church will be wonderful...

...that my daughter loves to create and cook (these are biscuit donuts)...

...that I like this new, bigger size of necklaces I just made (thanks Nancy!)...

...that today will be a wonderful day!

A little color to the front porch

This wekend I brought ferns home from the FFA Greenhouse at school. Then I got a neat idea from PolkaDot Mom for these pillows. They are "Martha" inspired and I made them myself. Can you guess what the material is?

Easter Week in Review

This past week was our Spring Break. We had every kind of weather situation (except blazing hot).

We...played in the ditch...

did a little crafting while it snowed...the kids put the paper on the blocks...

traveled to St Louis...in the rain...and went to the Science Museum with Aunt Paige, Uncle Steven and Nanny...learned about dinosaurs and fossils...

hunted some eggs...

And gave thanks that He is Risen!

Today, from one pair of little boy pants...

I made a pair of shorts and 2 doll skirts!

Daniel's pants still fit him good, but were a little short. He needed some kahki shorts for summer, so I thought I would alter the pants with my new sewing machine! When I cut off the pants legs, Olivia held them up and said "these are doll skirts". So, you know what I did after I hemmed the shorts.
