We get business ad magnets stuck to our phone books. I have thrown many of these away. Not anymore...plain ones cost $2.50 for a 5 x 8" sheet at Hobby Lobby. The particular magnet sheet I worked with today was from an attorney's office and had a 2007 calendar printed on it, of no use to us as it was.
Start with any size business magnet, Mod Podge and a photo. I put a coat of Mod Podge on the magnet and then placed my photo on top. Let it dry a little while and simply trim around the edges. Place on your fridge and enjoy. I'm going to start watching for these and make magnets for grandparents throughout the year.
These could also be used for schedules, chore charts, medicine lists, phone numbers, party invitations, etc.

Greta,
That is such a cute idea! Now I want to see you post what project you did with all that tulle! LOL!

This is a great idea. We get so many of these too. What a great way to reuse and make them cute. My parents would love more pics of my kids.
These are AWESOME & the possibilities are endless. The kids would enjoy making some of their very own magnets, too. :-)
Now that is an excellent frugal idea!!
Cute, cute, cute. Great idea.
